Apex Legends: Who will be the next legend? Leaks of crypto, rosy and nomads

Since the update of Iron Crown for Apex Legends, data miners have spent the day digging through updated game files, uncovering all the capabilities of three unseen legends: Crypto, Rosie and Nomad – but that will be added to the game first?

Wattson was the last character to arrive at Kings Canyon, at the launch of Season 2, succeeding Octane in Season 1, and the story suggests that a new legend will arrive for Season 3.

The Season 2 trailer itself teased a new character that was not Wattson, showing a hacker supposed to be Crypto, but the Respawn developers have been silent ever since.

Who is the next legend to come to Kings Canyon?

According to Data Miner Ça1MiningGuy, responsible for the search for legendary abilities in the game's files, Crypto is by far the most "complete" character.

Combined with the fact that he was already teased in the season 2 trailer, it seems likely that Crypto is the next step, but is it possible that Respawn publishes two legends for season 3 in October?

On August 1, the main developer, Tina Sanchez, released footage of a motion capture session, which could indicate that the engine was for Rosie.

The final and most mysterious legend for which we know the abilities is Nomad. Like Rosie and Crypto, Nomad was found for the first time in the game's files when Apex Legends was released.

After updating Iron Crown, all of Nomad's skills have been discovered alongside Rosie and Crypto, which means its development is also progressing.

It is not because these abilities were found in the game files that character development is complete. There can still be voice lines to record, animations and cosmetics to create even more.

With the scheduled launch of season 3 in October, at least Crypto should be added, but if Rosie's development progresses as well, we may see two at the same time for the first time.

Nomad seems to be further away, and it is unlikely that all three will be added at the same time or close to each other, so Nomad could potentially be scheduled for Season 4 or later.
