UPDATE (8/18, 8:19 ET): It is an abdominal oppression, according to the team. Turn off the horns of panic.
Original post as follows:
Corey Kluber is out of today's rehab with the Columbus Clippers after a scoreless run. According to a contributor of Sox MachineKluber did not seem to be happy to get into the dugout and was replaced by Jared Robinson in the second run.
The injury has not been officially announced yet, but Andre Knott said he was tight in his side and had nothing to do with his arm.
Of course, we have no idea if this contraction comes from overcompensation, because something is hurting his arm, or maybe it's just an old muscle spasm. Personally, I will not stop being preoccupied with Kluber until he has started a playoff game. Until then, consider me tight.
Kluber did not allow a hit in the inning, but he had no backslide and had two hitters. It was the third time Cy Young's former winner started his re-education as he was returning from a forearm fracture he suffered on May 1st.
