The fans never thought that would happen, but a Downton Abbey the film arrives in theaters. The long-awaited feature film based on the hit series PBS arrives on September 20th.

The film, which continues the saga of the aristocratic Crawley family, regains its rights in 1927, 18 months after the last episode of the series, and will feature beloved characters gathered in the big family home for a big event. Of course, the beautiful places (the show and movie were shot at Highclere Castle in England) and the fabulous costumes will be back and better than ever.

Amazon Prime subscribers can listen for free to the six seasons of the show. These are the unedited original episodes of the UK. When the program aired in the United States, minor changes were made to accommodate the ad-free format of PBS.

PBS members can also broadcast the entirety of Downton Abbey for free with their Passport benefit. In general, anyone who donates $ 60 or more a year – or $ 5 a month – to their local PBS station can access the benefit, which also offers seamless access to many other Masterpiece programs, including: Victoria, Poldark, and Sherlock as well as series like American Experience, Nature, and Nova.
