Elizabeth's Elmora Troopers resumed their game of suspension of the Little League World series, but the team was not able to change the result.
Hawaii led 6-0 on Sunday when the game was delayed due to bad weather. However, the score remained the same Monday, as the match continued at the start of the fifth inning with a withdrawal.
Sal Garcia III was in first position and Jayden Rosado started a walk, giving the Troopers two basic runners. That's all they got. Yadriel Mateo knocked out and Jayden Capindica hit a ground ball in second place for the third outing.
In the last game of the team, The Troopers went quietly. Three at the top and three at the bottom.
The road to winning the World Little League series is difficult once the team is in the losing class of a double elimination tournament. But it is not impossible.
They replay at 1 pm Thursday against Rhode Island.
