Porsche Taycan will come with a standalone Apple Music application

This means that the feature is not exclusively aimed at those who buy its premium EV when it becomes available. That said, Taycan owners will enjoy an added benefit: three years of free internet in the car. "None of our customers will have to worry about data consumption during streaming," said Lars Buchwald, director of sales and marketing at Porsche Connect, at an event.

TechCrunch says that customers can expect true integration. They will see an Apple Music icon on their Taycan Entertainment Center display and will not even need to pair it with their phone. All they have to do is connect their Apple IDs to their Porsche accounts. Customers will even be able to access all the service because the Porsche app will not be different from its mobile counterpart. In addition, they will be able to use Porsche's voice assistant to play songs or change radio stations, among others.

The automaker also said the Taycan would have access to Apple CarPlay, which will also be deployed in more of its vehicles.
