Let the king of the ring begin!

As announced last week, RAW (and SmackDown) will host an exciting tournament in the coming weeks. That's right, that the king of the ring begins! And as if this return was not enough, we had also waited for the expected return of Sasha Banks. Three hours of wrestling and sports entertainment under RAW should be very busy, so let us open this Nutshell and get you started!

Best match of the night:

Launch a coin here, but I have two choices.

Personally, I really liked Joe and Cesaro. Hard and tough match, although Cesaro probably had no chance.

Then we had our main title match of the event, which was fun in itself.

Worst match of the night:

The 24/7 segment between Elias and R-Truth was so bad. As for example, most of the previous segments of the 24/7 Championship segments have been excellent, or at least good and enjoyable. Tonight was really not good. I do not know if it's because Elias was kicked out to keep the title or whatever … but it was not fun.

Star of the night

If only by default, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. Why? Because they are your new RAW team champions.

Spot of the night:

Not much to choose from, but the RKO of what would normally be a breaking machine was pretty cool.

Jobber of the night:

In a non-traditional jobber use, what about Xavier Woods? He took the worst of the Revival / Orton offensive, so I think he deserves it.

Angry night:

I knew Strowman would get a boost, but I did not think his thrust would include the RAW Team Gold Medal. Slightly surprised to see Strowman and Rollins beat Gallows and Anderson to become new champions

Holy Sh ** Moment of the night:

I should go with the attack, by The Fiend, on Jerry "The King" Lawler. But for sure, he beat Finn Balor, and while Balor was taking time, it was not really WWE if Wyatt had destroyed Balor. Instead, most of The Fiend's brutality was inflicted by whom? In retirement, the washed guys who offer no resistance.

At some point you have to get him into a program with someone better, right? Or at least, did he choose larger names or more active wrestlers? I think that say No Way Jose is more impressive than Lawler.

A little bit of the night:

I do not know if it was a low blow or a really terrible place … but Sonya DeVille hit Alexa Bliss from a kick, and Bliss l & rsquo; Sold strangely. Like, a late fall on the carpet and then rolled in a strange way into the ring.

From another point of view … WWE has a backup announcer ready to go, who is waiting behind the scenes, who is well prepared and all? It's as if the camera was in the car before a certain Superstar passed through his window or had "no idea" of who was behind Reigns' disrepair, while the WWE has already filmed it the framework. We have it, it's written in a script and everything … but it's just strange. I mean, Vic is working 205 live … which is Tuesday. This is not a reason for it to stay on RAW, is not it?

Outstanding moment:

Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander are the first two Superstars to qualify for Round 2 of the King of the Ring Tournament. I love these two who are advancing so far.

Rey was basically announcing his retirement, only for his son to talk about it. It looks like a father-son team match will happen at some point, which will probably serve as a go-getter.

Banks did not say much, but she did not have to.

Global lowlights:

I would not say we had lowlights, but I would say this show was good, but not as good as last week. However, given the strength of last week, it's a tough show to finish … so I'll give it a pass.

Global strengths:

A good start for the King of the Rings was the best part of the night tonight. The title change of the tag was an unexpected surprise to start. It will be interesting to see where this program goes, for sure.

After the final bell:

Sasha had a good follow up in the heel, without saying much.

I like the look of Joe and Cedric in their first matches.

How long will Rollins and Strowman keep the gold? It will be interesting to watch.
