Maddy Freking, 12, is the only girl in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and she is one of her biggest stars.
While throwing for her Minnesota team, she came out of a laden padding by hitting a hitter, then returning a base runner, to end the run.
When she's not on the mound, you'll see Freking play on a second goal, just like her hero, Jackie Robinson. Among his fans, we find Clint Hurdle, the manager of Pittsburgh Pirates, who saw her play Sunday. So, could girls like Freking see their dreams come true?
"I just hope that there is a day I live long enough for this to happen," said Hurdle.
Freking is only the 19th girl to play in the Little League world series. Her advice to other girls watching is to "keep playing" and "always do their best".
