Spider-Man: the feature film far from home: in theaters for the Labor Day weekend

Spider-Man: far from home was a breeze, followed by the summer of gravity of Avengers: End of the game. Now, Deadline reports that Sony will republish Far from home in the United States and Canada, with an additional four-minute action sequence on Thursday, August 29th. The new version will be available in IMAX formats and in large formats in some places.

This is not the first time that MCU movies have a re-release with additional images: End of Game was the last to be treated in June with the addition of a tribute and a bonus scene at the end of the film. Adding content usually does not have much impact on the overall story, but others Far from home (like his post-credit image) deserves a second watch. The extended cut is an excellent excuse to make another pass to the film.

It is unclear exactly where the new sequence will fit into the film, although the visual spectacle of Spider-Man and Mysterio's battles against the elemental monsters seems ripe for expansion. Spider-Man: far from home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, Marisa Tomei and Jon Favreau, and is directed by Jon Watts.
