For the second time, Microsoft has released two separate versions of Windows 10 19H2 for the Slow Ring Insider program.

"Today we are releasing versions 18362.10014 and 18362.10015 of 19H2 for Windows Insiders in the Slow ring," Microsoft's release said. "We are testing the ability to send these updates with default disabled features so that they can be enabled through controlled feature deployments. This helps us to get better feedback on the overall quality of the construction. A subset of insiders in the slow ring will have features disabled by default, and another subset will activate them by default. "

Those who receive 9H2 build 18362.10012 will have their new features disabled by default. Those who receive 9H2 build 18362.10013 will have new features enabled by default.

The new features are all minor and include:

Windows Defender Credential Guard for ARM64 Devices. This tool provides additional protection against theft of identification information for companies deploying ARM64 devices in their organizations, Microsoft said. So, this absolutely does not concern any company.

All desktop applications in S mode via Intune. To go back from Mode S, Microsoft allows companies to supplement the Windows 10 S mode policy to allow Microsoft Intune's classic desktop applications.

Windows search in the file explorer. The search field in the File Explorer is being updated to be powered by Windows Search. "This change will help integrate your OneDrive online content with traditional indexed results," notes Microsoft.

Improvements of the narrator. Narrator and other assistive technologies can read and know where the Fn key is on the keyboards and whether it is locked or not.
