PARKER, Fla. (AP) – Authorities say a convicted robber from Alabama who left his work in Georgia and killed a man in Florida.

Gulf County Sheriff's statement

says

Stephen Michael Smith shot in the head as he walked in March, Parker, Florida.

The 34-year-old Smith was

reported missing

last week when he did not go back to work at the Georgia facility.

Florida resident Daniel Lee Upton was found to be fatally wounded Monday morning and morning.

They say he also named 44-year-old Destiny Jene Terry, who has been arrested and charged with being a second-degree murderer.
