Here is the statement in its entirety:

Most of today 's news on Spider – Man have misinterpreted recent discussions about Kevin Feige' s involvement in the franchise. We are disappointed, but respect Disney's decision not to let him continue to be the main producer of our next live film. Spider Man movie. We hope this will change in the future, but understand that Disney's many new responsibilities – including all newly added Marvel properties – leave it no time to work on intellectual property they do not own. Kevin is great and we are grateful for his help and advice and we appreciate the path he has helped us follow and we will continue.

On Monday, Deadline announced that Disney and Sony had failed to agree to continue their partnership with Spider-Man. If negotiations fail, negotiations will fail, which means that Feige will no longer serve as a producer. on the next two Spider Man films featuring Tom Holland that were apparently planned.

There is also the question of other aspects of the Disney and Sony agreement, which allowed Disney Marvel characters to appear in the movie Sony. Spider Man movies and vice versa. If Disney really broke with this partnership, it could mean that the crossover agreement (which was entered into in exchange for a credit given to the co-producers on Sony's films) is also removed from the table and that both companies should work to establish these terms.
