The man arrested last month after authorities found a weapons cache at his home and a Nazi paraphernalia had used his residence in Sussex County as a hub for the manufacture and sale of firearms and drugs, according to court documents.

In January 2014, Rubino was involved in a bar fight involving members of the Hells Angels and other biker gangs, according to a lawsuit.
A fight broke out at Stage Dolls, a bar serving on Route 46 in Great Meadows involving at least 10 Hells Angels. Rubino has been stabbed at least five times in the stomach, according to a civil lawsuit that Rubino has filed against the club. The complaint indicated that Rubino had been seriously injured in the internal organs and in the defense.
Rubino sued the club for negligence, claiming that the bar should have been better armed to fight because of his numerous altercations between clients. The case was settled in June for an undisclosed amount. The lawyer who represented Rubino in the civil case declined to comment on the details of the settlement.
Rubino was convicted in 1999 of writing bad checks ranging in size from $ 200 to $ 1,000. He was sentenced to three years of probation.
On current charges, Rubino faces a maximum life sentence if convicted of his most serious crime – possession of a firearm as part of a crime of drug trafficking . Rubino also faces other federal offenses related to drug trafficking and possession of weapons, and has been charged with similar offenses in Sussex and Warren counties. The US Attorney's Office has stated that many of the firearms that Rubino came from outside of New Jersey.
Rubino is currently being held at Warren County Jail, a prison official said. He is scheduled to appear in federal court in Newark on Thursday.
A Rubino lawyer, Daniel G. P. Marchese, did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
A man who was seen entering Rubino's home on Wednesday, but refused to give his name, defended the suspect and categorically denied that Rubino was involved in white supremacy.
