"Mortal Kombat 11" is about to become even more brutal with the addition of four new downloadable characters in the coming months. The "Kombat Pack" will bring back Sindel and three guest characters: Spawn, the Joker and the T-800 Terminator performed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"Mortal Kombat" is best known for its extreme violence and the three guest characters will be at home next to the group of killers of the game. The previous games of "Mortal Kombat" also included many horror movie guest characters and science fiction, including Jason Voorhees's "Friday the 13th", Freddy Krueger's "Nightmare on Elm Street" and the xenomorphosis of the "Alien" franchise.

It will not be the first appearance in a fighting game of Spawn and the Joker, the star comic book of "Mortal Kombat 11". Spawn was an exclusive Xbox guest star in "SoulCalibur 2" in 2002, while the Joker recently appeared in the "Injustice" series created by the developer of "Mortal Kombat", NetherRealm Studios.

The T-800 Terminator comes before the appearance of Schwarzenegger in "Terminator: Dark Fate", the sixth film of the series "Terminator" to be released in theaters in November. Another character from "Terminator" will make an appearance in the video game in "Gears 5" from Microsoft in September.

When "Mortal Kombat 11" was released in April, it became the first game to rank at the top of sales on the top three video game consoles in more than a decade. "Mortal Kombat 11" is the best-selling game of the year and it is about to overtake "Mortal Kombat X" as the best-selling game in the history of the franchise.

The Kombat Pass adds six characters to the original list of 25 players in the game and two have already been released. Nightwolf is a Native American fighter introduced for the first time in "Mortal Kombat 3", while Shang Tsung is the villain who steals the soul in the center of the original "Mortal Kombat". The actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa played the role of Shang Tsung in the movie "Mortal Kombat" of 1994 and took over the role of "Mortal Kombat 11."

"Mortal Kombat 11" is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The Kombat Pack is a separate purchase of $ 40. The luxury edition of "Mortal Kombat 11" includes the Kombat pack and normally costs $ 100, but it's on sale for $ 75 on Xbox and PlayStation until August 27.
