RED BATON, La. – The Republican candidate to Louisiana Governor Ralph Abraham has published a new television advertisement that aims to promote the right to abortion and the transgender community while drawing attention to his campaign.
In the 30-second spot launched Thursday, the three-member congressman looks directly at the camera to establish what he calls "the truth."
The Conservative quickly strikes several points, stating that "life begins at conception", that taxes are too high and that he supports President Donald Trump.
With a chuckle, he concludes by slipping the LGBTQ community: "And as a doctor, I can assure you that there are only two sexes."
Abraham is one of the two main GOP candidates defeated by Democrat MP John Bel Edwards in the Oct. 12 poll, alongside businessman Eddie Rispone.
