Dion Weisler, CEO of HP, resigns

CEO of HP Inc., Dion Weisler, will retire later this year as a leader of one of the world's largest PC makers, for family health reasons.

Weisler, who took over from HP's presidency in 2015, will be replaced by Enrique Lores, responsible for the company's imaging, printing and solutions business, HP said Thursday. Mr. Lores, a Spaniard who joined the company 30 years ago, will assume the position of Manager on November 1st and will work with Mr. Weisler until January 2020 to facilitate the transition, announced the society.
