We asked, you told us: Most people use Google Assistant for a wide variety of things.

I consider myself a rather boring Google Assistant user. I use it quite often on my phones and the Google Home speakers, but I only ask general questions and the weather.

That's why we asked you last week to tell us why you use Google Assistant. Are you a boring user like me or are you ordering your smart home with the voice assistant? Out of a total of more than 1,400 votes, the results were in fact quite homogeneous.

18% of voters reported using Google Assistant to control their smart home products, 16.6% using it to ask general questions, and 16.5% using it to stream music to their home. 15.1% use it to program reminders and 14.6% use the wizard to learn about weather conditions.

• I do not. Because, even though I live in town – and I have a bar of my G8, 4 months old, there are 5 bars, when I drive on the road, I say: "OK Google, call ( my brother) 70% of the time I get: "I'm sorry, I can not access the internet at the moment. So I use Cortana instead. This allows me to appreciate the effectiveness of the Windows Phone Voice Assistant 5 years ago and the useless disaster of Android in this area.
• I use assistant for everything
• Google mainly emits to call everyone at meals and in this heat using smart cards to turn on and off fans.
• I use it quite often while driving to send text messages.
• Smart home control, broadcasts across the house, and certainly routines for me. And alarms, timers, a shopping list, music … okay. We use a lot of ours.
• I only use it to set my alarms for work or any special occasion
