Introducing the Taichi graphics card, ASRock's first triple fan – Meet the Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi OC

ASRock was the first manufacturer to announce the creation of custom-designed Radeon RX 5700 graphics cards and is now expanding its product line of the Radeon RX 5700 series. The latest addition to the range is the ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT OC + , a three-fan, 2.5-slot design that looks similar to ASRock's Taichi motherboard line.

The ASRock Taichi series graphics cards were first seen at the Computex 2019 in a prototype state. ASRock presented three models on the Computex floor, two of which follow their new Phantom Gaming style and a model, their Taichi style. The final model looks like concept design with some cosmetic modifications.

First, ASRock has a two-color fairing design that comes in champagne gold and black colors. There are three fans on the shroud, two of which are 100mm and a fan in the center, smaller than the rest. This fan has an acrylic design to make it shine with the RGB LEDs that surround it. The card uses the ASRock full-color synchronization technology, which would make the RGBs work on this card. The card comes in a 2.5 slot format and has an extended circuit board to support custom presentation. The sides of the map appear to have an LED screen with the Taichi logo in the center and surveillance statistics on the sides.

The Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi OC seems to be powered by two 8-pin connectors, which shows that the PCB would be decent enough for overclocking the GPU Navi 10 to 7nm. On the back of the card, one can see a beautiful back plate adorned with Taichi logo and Taichi gear design. Do not forget that the concept model also featured RGBs on the back, but honestly, the new design is much more stylish and elegant. Under the fairing, two heat sink blocks are interconnected by large heat pipes to dissipate heat from the chip, VRMs and memory.

The ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi OC also has two switches on the circuit board, one is a BIOS switch that enables the OC BIOS or the silent BIOS, and the other switch controls the LED, allowing users to activate them or disable them manually. You can also do this via the Polychrome Sync software provided with the card. For display, the card offers two HDMI 2.0b ports and four DisplayPort ports, which should provide users with great flexibility for running multiple screens at once. Expect more map information to become available in the next few days.
