With Borderlands 3 being less than two weeks away from launch, it's time to start looking beyond the first day's experience. While it is certain that the game will be released overnight, Gearbox's latest addition will be continually updated with drops in free content and downloadable content.
Between the launch of September 13 and that of 2020, the looter shooter will receive two free updates of the event and the first of four pieces of downloadable content provided for the title. The two coins that arrive at no additional cost, Bloody Harvest and Maliwan Takedown, will include new content, activities, enemies and exclusive rewards. In addition, it will introduce a new card and powerful rewards that can be obtained by beating a new boss.
The first major element of downloadable content has not been detailed in depth, but we can expect it to be of a good length and that it introduces new areas, weapons and classes. And, of course, a lot more content will follow next year. Are you looking forward to diving in Borderlands 3 on September 13th? Loot and shoot in the comments below.
