A cruise ship in Honolulu holds an Atlanta job fair

The Norwegian Cruise Company is holding an employment fair on September 4 to equip its M / S Pride of America, which offers weekly departures throughout the year from Honolulu.

There will be a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session starts at 8:30, when the inscriptions begin. An information meeting starts at 9 am and interviews begin at 10 am – be sure to wear professional clothing.

The afternoon session begins at 1:30 pm, with the information meeting at 2:00 am and interviews beginning at 3:00 am. Doors close at the beginning of each information meeting and no one will be allowed to enter it once it starts.

Before going to a session, however, you must apply online.

Norwegian has stated that it is looking for "dynamic and hospitable professionals with recent and relevant experience in one of the following categories":

  • Assistant cook
  • Server assistant
  • Bar waiter
  • Entertainment technician – audio assistant / stage
  • Laundry staff
  • Photographer
  • Restaurant Commissioner – Bearer / Waiter
  • Seasonal Advisor for Youth (Two years or more of experience in the field of recreation required to work with children)
  • Deputy Chief
  • Stateroom steward – maintenance of hotel rooms
  • Utility – concierge at the hotel and in the kitchen
