ADA, Minnesota – The Norman County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide.
The sheriff's office received a call at 5:05 pm Thursday, August 29, a possible suicide in a rural area of Gary, Minnesota.
According to the authorities, when the police arrived, they found Duane Carlsrud, 62, his wife Rebecca, 61, and the deceased family animal. A recent survey indicates that the couple died as a result of a gunshot wound, described as a homicide-suicide.
The bodies were transported to the Forensic Department of the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks for autopsies.
No additional suspects are wanted. The sheriff's office was assisted by the police departments of Ada (Minnesota) and Twin Valley (Minnesota).
