The new Smash downloadable content is still a hot topic of debate among fans and gamers, but now it seems that we will be able to expand our predictions on something much more concrete.
The Challenger Pack 4 list on the Nintendo UK website mentions an SNK copyright at the bottom of the page, indicating that the next DLC will be created.
This news has been revealed for the first time by the user Twitter New_WaiSabi (via PushDustIn).
Although we can now focus on a SNK title, there is still much to explore to find out who the next fighter might be.
SNK has a long history and a plethora of games to choose from, but there is a good chance it's a Samurai Shodown character, due out on December 12 in Japan on the Switch.
Apart from Samurai Shodown, there are many other titles in which Smash could choose a character, including the following:
- king of the fighters
- Fatal Fury
- The art of fighting
- Metal Slug
SNK's rich history of fighting games will be a great addition to Smash, even if it's not even what fans expect.

Rumor has run about who will be the next fighter and although it seems we have reduced the fourth, we still need to predict who will be the fifth.
D.Va or Tracer of Overwatch, Ryu Hayabusa, and Undertale, of Ninja Gaiden, have all been accused of participating in the match at one point.
Overwatch may have already filtered as coming from the Switch, so it would make sense to add a character from FPS, the Blizzard hit.
According to the Nintendo website, the Challenger Pack 4 will be announced before February 29, 2020.
