The news comes more than three weeks after Cyrus announced his separation from her husband Liam Hemsworth and had been seen for the first time kissing Carter during his vacation with friends in Italy.

The two were often seen together as a result of their personal digital assistant filled trip to Europe. Just this weekend, they were seen at a luncheon with Cyrus' mother, Tish Cyrus. The singer "Slide Away" was photographed with her arm around Kaitlynn at the time. Last week, Carter had also been seen behind the scenes of Cyrus at the 2019 VMAs, and they saw themselves holding hands as they traveled to one of the after-parties in New York.
Two weeks ago, Cyrus put an end to the implications of having cheated Hemsworth during their marriage, leading to their divorce. "I can admit many things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating," she wrote in a series of tweets.
Despite their many cameos, Cyrus and Carter have not spoken publicly about their story yet.
