Robert Pattinson describes his role in Batman for the first time

Robert Pattinson describes the somewhat "humiliating" experience of masquerading as Batman. Pattinson, who will be playing in Bateman's upcoming Matt Reeves movie, spoke to Variety about his intention to play Batsuit during his audition.

"You feel very powerful immediately. And it's pretty amazing, something in which it's incredibly hard to come in, so the ritual of doing it is pretty humbling, "said Pattinson to Variety. You have five people trying to push you to something. "

Despite everything, Pattinson said that he thought putting on the suit was "transformative".

"I feel strong, I feel hard, even if someone had to squeeze my buttocks on my legs," he said.

Pattinson further told Variety that he was on the set of Christopher Nolan's latest film, Tenet, when he discovered that he had been chosen to play Batman. Pattinson said that he took the opportunity to talk to Nolan about how to get around the Batsuit.

The film's release is scheduled for June 25, 2021 and will be called The Batman. In June, IGN announced that Andy Serkis would have joined the cast of the film in an unspecified role.
