Minnesota Vikings look like host to Super Bowl's "Choose Six" Podcast Will Brinson chose to win everything in the first week against the Atlanta Falcons. A dominating effort for the Vikings with a 28-6 win over the Falcons, who completely controlled Atlanta in all three phases of the match.
Dalvin Cook, whom Brinson likes win the title of champion this season, finished with 21 runs for 111 yards and two touchdowns for Minnesota, his third career 100-yard rushing career. The Vikings had only played five 100-yard games last season, but 120 yards in the first half en route to a total of 174 for the game.
Kirk Cousins finished 8 of 10 goals for 98 yards and a touchdown for a 140.8 passer rating. The 10 pass attempts were the few that the Cousins ever attempted in an NFL game, their previous low being 15 Jan. 3, 2016 (Week 17 versus the Dallas Cowboys). The least amount of cousin attempts with the Vikings was 21 last year.
Adam Thielen finished with three catches for 43 yards and one touchdown. The Vikings' defense had three takeaways and the special teams blocked a punt. Anthony Harris had two interceptions and a fumble recovery for a defense that held the Falcons 73 yards down.
Matt Ryan still played 300 yards in the pass, but the majority of those yards came in time when the Vikings were up 28-0. He finished 33 of his 46 goals for 304 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions for a ranking of 85.8 passers. Austin Hooper led the Falcons with nine catches for 77 yards while Julio Jones was limited to six catches for 31 yards and one touchdown, which was late in the fourth quarter.

The Vikings improve to 1-0 and will play against the Green Bay Packers (1-0) next week. The Falcons fall to 0-1 and will host the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night in the football week.
