Trailer Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Our 5 favorite details

Square Enix has released a new Remake of Final Fantasy 7 Today's trailer, and if you're also extremely distracted by the beauty of all Turks in their newfound glory, there are some other details in the trailer that we see for the first time.

Each scene in the trailer is still in the Midgar part of the game, which was predictable, as the remake will be divided into different parts, and the first part is given priority. If you are looking for sequences of beloved party members, such as Red XIII or Vincent Valentine, you will have to wait.

Aerith in her Don Corneo outfit

At the beginning of the game, Tifa ventures into Don Corneo's mansion to get information about Shinra and gets stuck there. Aerith and Cloud must intervene to bail it out. Don Corneo loves pretty women and frequently goes to the local brothel. The solution is clear: Aerith must nibble and sneak.

However, this trailer does not show the continuation of this story, where Cloud puts on a dress and a wig to follow her. Square Enix knows we want to see this cloud of superior quality and makes us wait.

The convocations look good and have shorter sequences

Final Fantasy 7 had some notoriously long invocation sequences. Many people would jokingly say that when you call Nights of the Round, you can go get a snack, come back and the cinematic scene continues to play. It seems that the animations and attacks for the invocations in the remake have been shortened, but they are no less enchanting.

Toads HD!

Becoming Toad is a favorite of the Final Fantasy franchise. It is interesting to see these sinuous and low-poly animations of the old games, but we now have a high quality toad. When Cloud turns into a toad, he can keep his Buster sword on his slimy back, which is great.

If the remake keeps the tradition of the toad characters making a victory animation after their encounters, it means we may be able to see Cloud as a toad, spinning his sword and putting it on his back. Please, Square Enix.

A more complicated mini-game (but not a lot)

In the original game, Cloud must beat a muscular man in a mini-game "who can squat longer". This was upgraded from pressing the buttons in a sequence to press the buttons with precise timing in a sequence. We also see Tifa doing pull-ups against a guy, which is new.

Who is the new?

The trailer also shows a guy with a sword on a motorcycle, who looks like no one we've seen in the original game or in the spin-offs. We do not know much about him, but he certainly wears a SOLDIER's sword similar to the one we see Zack Fair Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 early in the game. Cloud also recognizes him in the trailer as a SOLDIER, but nothing else.
