Here's all that Apple has not announced during its iPhone 11 event in September

In September, Apple introduced us to the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the Apple Watch Series 5, details of the launch of Apple Arcade and the Apple TV +, and even the new seventh generation iPad with a 10.2-inch larger screen. However, Apple has decided to save a number of product launches for a possible October event (or another occasion) and some of them may have even been abandoned at the last minute. Read on to discover all that Apple did not announce at the Steve Jobs Theater in September but could be unveiled soon.

Some of the new Apple products that have not been announced are expected or even promised to land this fall. However, this window officially extends until December 21 and we know that Apple has pushed its product versions at the last minute.

Other upcoming products, such as Apple's article tracking, apps and the Stereo AR headset, could be announced at any time, but there is no guarantee that we'll see them land this year, even if they could have be eliminated from the September event at the last minute.

Apple label

We know a lot about Apple's next Tile-like tracking system after our own Gui Rambo discovered the product in April. The Apple tag will work with the new Find My App app in iOS 13 and will provide a seamless native experience for tracking assets.

In June, Gui found the product "Tag1,1" in the first iOS 13 beta with the first image of circular item tracking. Since then, he has shared even more about how the product works. The Apple Tag tag must contain Bluetooth LE, NFC, Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology and a speaker to easily track objects or track lost items.

As expected, the iPhone 11 range includes a new "U1" chip to enable the use of Ultra Wideband technology, but Apple has not given it much time on the scene and has so far only thought of improve AirDrop. As Benjamin Mayo of 9to5Mac noted:

However, what was missing in the opening speech was a U1 device: the tracking accessory for Apple players. Tile also seemed to be waiting for Apple to unveil its Tag product this week by sending a media reminder about its products and device integrations, in order not to be forgotten with the news Apple Tracker.

With the imminent launch of the Apple object tracker, we could see it announced at an Apple event in October, but a launch in 2019 is not guaranteed.

In addition, we still do not have details on Apple's price tracking, but the premium Tile Pro with removable battery costs around $ 25 or less in a multi-pack.

AR stereo applications and headphones

While Apple's object tracker references have all been removed with the recent iOS 13 GM and iOS 13.1 beta 3, curious enough, Apple has left the StarBoard framework of its apps and its headset (s) Stereo AR in the most recent versions.

As Gui discovered for the first time in April and explained more last week, Apple's work on Stereo AR applications and headphones is at a fairly advanced stage.

Engineers are also developing stereo stereoscopic resolution support for iOS – as reported by 9to5Mac in April – but the project may not be the "Apple glasses" project that everyone is talking about. It consists of support for an apparent facial resonance experience, comparable to Google's, and has been internally tested to support two Apple devices (named Luck and Franc) and a third-party device, HoloKit .

Stereo AR applications on iPhone work the same way as CarPlay, with stereo AR support indicated in the app's manifest. These applications can operate in "suspended mode", which is basically a normal AR mode, or in "ported mode", used with any of these external devices. A new system shell – called StarBoard – hosts extensions that support the new AR mode, similar to how WatchKit applications work in the original Watch.

According to recent information that the AR headset project has been canceled, it is difficult to know when (Apple) will announce something about it, but the company has definitely worked on the support of stereo ARs for games and other applications, which is in an advanced stage. state like iOS 13.

Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo, a trustworthy analyst at Apple, had predicted that Apple would start manufacturing its AR helmet as early as the fourth quarter of 2019, while specifying that mass production might not take place until the second quarter 2020. Apple TV updated

Although we have not heard many rumors about updated Apple TV hardware, our Zac Hall has highlighted several reasons why a new Apple TV with HDMI 2.1 and a newer processor might arrive this year.

First, the decoder has had a two-year upgrade cycle for some time, with the Apple TV HD landing in 2015 and the launch of the Apple TV 4K in 2017.

• the Twitter account @never_released Longhorn is waiting for a new Apple TV 11.1 model with an upgrade of the A12 processor from the current A10X Fusion chip.
• An anonymous tip we received tonight is waiting for a new Apple TV with HDMI 2.1

An announcement about Apple TV hardware may seem logical in a press release or end in October … just before the launch of Apple TV +.

iPad Pro refresh

While Apple often registers its iPad ads for October events, the seventh-generation iPad boasts a 10.2-inch screen during its iPhone event this year. However, updates from the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro could be ready to launch next month.

Like Apple TV, we have not heard many rumors or reports of the possibilities offered by updated iPad Pro models this year. But last month, Macotakara announced that the 2019 update of the iPad Pro could bring the triple iPhone 11 Pro camera system to the tablet.

This would be the jump from the unique rear camera on the iPad Pro 2018 models and we have heard no other corroborating reports, but that seems like a possibility and would provide support for experiments such as Stereo AR applications and more software. Powerful for cameras and video features coming up with the iPhone 11 range.

16-inch MacBook Pro

Last February, Ming-Chi Kuo announced for the first time the arrival of a new 16-inch MacBook Pro this year. Since then, we have heard about many features and expected specifications. These include the first MacBook Pro to go from the tedious design of the butterfly keyboard to the scissor key design.

Other expectations for the 16-inch MacBook Pro include a brand-new design with slim enclosures that could allow the largest notebook to have the same footprint as the 15-inch MacBook Pro. The screen can present a resolution of 3072 x 1920, which would also be an improvement over the current 15-inch notebook.

As for pricing, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected to start at around $ 3,000 and be available this fall. An event launch or revelation in October would therefore make sense.

Mac Pro

The all-new Mac Pro and XDR Pro Display were unveiled for the first time at WWDC last June. Apple only announced that the new products would see a release "in the fall", but did not give more details on its launch.

We know that the price starts at $ 5,999 for the Mac Pro and $ 4,999 for the Pro Display XDR and all the specifications of the modular machine pro.

Even if Apple does not launch Mac Pro and XDR Pro Display at an event in October, it could share the details of the launch to stimulate the appetite of business customers.
