Divers on Wednesday found the latest fire victim in California, which left 34 people dead on Labor Day.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department announced the discovery, saying that DNA testing would determine the body's identity.
Authorities have the intention to ride the boat from the Santa Barbara Channel for days, but these efforts have been repeatedly delayed by bad weather. Managers are now waiting for the recovery process to start on Thursday or Friday.
Investigators still have not determined the cause of worst maritime disaster in the history of modern California and believe that being able to examine the boat could help locate a source of inflammation and explain why none of the victims could escape.
The fire is declared at a Labor Day party dive expedition on weekends, trap the victims who were sleep under the bridge. Five crew members who were over deck at this time could have escaped and said that the fire was too intense to let out someone else.
Of the 34 victims, the authorities are still trying to determine the identity of seven people. Authorities believe that all died of smoke inhalation.
FBI Federal Investigators, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the US Coast Guard spent the last two days searching Santa Barbara Harbor's office of design operator Truth Aquatics. On Tuesday, the FBI also asked the public for any information – including videos and photos – from the Design.
Investigators also continued to examine and remove objects from Vision's boat, a similar boat to Conception, from Truth Aquatics. The FBI's proof experts carefully packed the items in cartons while an ATF team was examining the ship's systems.
