Bron's "Taco Tuesday" celebrations have become a worldwide hit this summer because of the hilarious videos of him screaming out loud every Tuesday around his delicious meals.
LeBron – who even made T-shirts for the occasion – tried to put the saying in August as an online marketing tool.
But, in documents filed by the USPTO late Tuesday night, they rejected James' request … citing this as a "banal message".
Essentially, the organization says that too many people use the term "taco tuesday" to describe their weekly Mexican meal … and refuse Bron's quest to appropriate this adage.
In addition, the USPTO says that a trademark "Taco Tuesday" would violate a separate trademark already registered, "Techno Taco Tuesday".
For real.
That does not seem to bother LeBron … his "Taco Tuesday" game always seems to be good.
