Apple Arcade: the 51 games announced up to now

Apple has firmly affirmed its position in the gaming world with more details on its new game subscription service, Apple Arcade. The service, announced for the first time in March, costs $ 4.99 (£ 4.99, AU $ 7.99) per month and will allow Apple users to play more than 100 new exclusive games on iPhone, iPad , iPod Touch, Mac and Apple TV.

Apple Arcade will be available on September 19 in more than 150 countries. Here is a list of all games known to date:

Artistic escape

Developers: Annapurna Interactive

This game, announced for the first time at the E3 2017, looks at least a trip. The Artful Escape tells the story of a musician, Francis Vendetti, in search of self discovery. The trailer hints at a kind of colorful, wild and mixed animation, and with, what I imagine, an incredible soundtrack.

Atone: Heart of the Elder

Developers: Wildboy Studios

If you're a fan of Norse mythology, discover this hand-drawn game. Explore beautifully rendered worlds, battle enemies, discover secrets and make choices to access one of the games multiple purposes.

Ball of baseball

developer: Gameloft

Ballistic Baseball is a new look at the American pastime that highlights the intense battle between the pitcher and the batter.

Beyond a sky of steel

Developers: Revolution Software

This cyberpunk thriller game takes place 10 years after the events of Under a steel sky, a science-fiction game from 1994, point-and-click. You will play the protagonist back, Robert Foster, an engineer, and navigate on a terrain that recalls the landscape of Fallout. It looks a bit like a comic, but it still looks like a dynamic world to explore.

Box project

Developers: Mel mediocre

There is no information yet available on this game without the image of a cardboard box. We will keep you posted.

The Bradwell conspiracy

Developers: Bossa Studios and a brave plan

I am really excited to try this one. It looks like its atmosphere is similar to that of the first Bioshock and We Happy Few. Bossa Studios describes the game as a narrative-inspired first-person experience in which you must discover the truth behind an explosion that destroyed Bradwell Electronics' facility.

Cardpocalypse

Developers: Against evil and gambrino

In this single player game, you must defeat the monsters that kidnap students with card games (think Yugi-Oh back in the day). The story is like a comic. I am excited about this one because the animation reminds me of a children's book that I had read in the 90s. I also appreciate the portrayal of a wheelchair character. The game is a puzzle game of maturity.

ChuChu Rocket!

Developped by: Universe and Sega

the classic Sega game is back two decades later, with hundreds of new 3D puzzles and multiplayer mode.

Doomsday Vault

Developers: Without flight

From the available images, this game will give you the impression of playing like a little robot in a vast wasteland that was once a city. Maybe start thinking about Wall-E.

Down to Bermuda

Developers: Yak & Co

Little is known about the Yak & Co. game, but the the developers tweeted that it will be an exclusive Apple Arcade. The image gives the impression that you will play as an explorer with a big island to cross. It also seems that you have an adorable duck companion. An additional image shows a lighthouse and a sea monster hiding nearby.

Night of the earth

Developers: Shifty Eye Games and Cleaversoft

Avoid obstacles and test your reflexes in this hand-painted 2D apocalypse dragon platform action game. The dragons have invaded the Earth. You play as a 14-year-old photographer who must save the world and navigate the skies infested with dragons.

The enchanted world

Developers: Noodlecake

The enchanted world is just one of three games that Noodlecake is offering at Apple Arcade this fall. The developers did not offer a lot of details but "Described it as" a beautiful puzzle gameIn a press release, Apple announced that the players would help a young fairy gather a magical world torn by dark forces.

Enter the construction

Developers: Directive Games

Again, few details to offer on this game. Published images and videos show that it's about a first-person sci-fi shooter and probably some 39, a more mature game.

Take out the gungeon

Developers: devolver

Exit the Gungeon, a dungeon climber, has the feel of an old arcade game. You play the role of a "gungeoneer" armed with changing weapons, ways to loot and dodge. Climb each level, fight the Gundead and escape as you please in changing rooms.

Fantastic

Developers: Mistwalker

To create this game, the team behind Fantasian did everything in its power with hand-made dioramas and 3D images. There are not many details about Fantasian, apart from the huge amount of work needed to make the graphics incredible. Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the game, is the brain behind many role-playing games, so the game is in good hands.

Frogger in Toy Town

Developers: Konami

If you liked the old school Frogger, it could be a remasterre that interests you. Konami introduced the Frogger demo in Toy Town during the Apple event Tuesday on an iPad. The audience watched Frogger navigates a busy road and is short of a giant baby.

Hitchhiker

Developers: Diabolical Versus and crazy pandas

You talk about a mystery road trip. Hitchhiker is on a driver on lost motorways. You play the role of the hitchhiker and you do not remember your identity or your destination. As you travel, the road and the driver offer clues as to what is happening.

Hot Lava

Developers: Klei Entertainment

Ready to be nostalgic? Now, you or your kids can play what was once called "The Floor is Lava" without leaving the couch (so, I guess it still matters). The game supports up to eight players so the whole family can run, jump, climb, surf and try to stay out of the lava field.

Jenny Clue Detectivu

Developers: Joe Russ and Ben Tillett

As a child, obsessed with Harriet The Spy, I am very happy with this game. It's a mystery adventure thriller narrative game guided by the choices you make. Placed in the seemingly idyllic town of Arthurton, you play as Jenny, a detective kid whose mother is accused of murder and who must discover the truth.

Kings of the castle

Developers: Ice pop

The style of this game is similar to Down in Bermuda, mentioned above. The style of the artwork is campy and cute, so it could be a more family-friendly game. Trees apparently have eyes though. So maybe make that cute and creepy.

Lego Arthouse

Developers: Lego

This game will be exclusive to Apple Arcade. Lego Arthouse makes Legos to an older audience. The game uses a narrative style to explore how, as people grow older, they may lose the connection with the creativity they had as children. The network of Lego ambassadors describes it as "an expression of the value of creativity in a story of transition to adulthood, located in a micro-LEGO world".

Lego brawls

Developers: Lego and Red Games

There are countless ways to create your character set in the Lego universe in this fast paced 4v4 multiplayer. Each stage of the game brings new challenges, goals and makes improvements, such as a pie thrower, a money gun, a snake car, a jetpack or a hot dog stand.

Realistic

Developers: Kunabi Brother

This is another Apple Arcade exclusive from the team that released Euclidean Skies. The game's operation is not yet clear, but it's visually pleasing and soothing to watch, like the developer's Frost app. The graphics look like swimming amoeba.

Little Orpheus

Developers: The Chinese hall

We have for the moment only an image of a plan of it. It looks like the game will revolve around the space race in 1962. The game's Twitter page has only released one of them. cryptic image referring to an exercise.

Monomers

Developers: Picomy

The monomers seem to stick to the same style as Heroki, the other Picomy game. It's colorful, fun and family-like. The goal is to catch creatures, or monomers, playing music in the ocean. The game will have social features to create your own music and share it with friends.

Mr. turtle

Developers: Illusion Labs

Little is known about this game, but at first glance, it looks like a cute, colorful platform game and a player in which you are a turtle. It sounds like a family affair, or something that could be fun to play at a party.

No return home

Developers: SMG Studio

There is not much left to say about No Way Home, except for one image tweeted by SMG Studios. It sounds like a sci-fi game with some fun space creatures involved.

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Kingdom

Developers: Cornfox & Bros.

Oceanhorn 2 is a prequel to Monster of the Uncharted Sea, from the game's website. So if you've played that one before, you'll see places you know but have reorganized. The game reminded me of the Zelda series with a hint of Kingdom Hearts.

By the road

Developers: Finji

This game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where you have to collect supplies, fight creatures and save other survivors. It looks like there's a dog named Chompsky in the game, and if anything happens to the dog, I'll be rioting. Fans of the Walking Dead Telltale series might like this game.

Pac-Man Royal Party

Developers: Bandai Namco

The new Pac-Man game for Apple Arcade features a four-player battle mode where the last standing Pac-Man player wins.

The pathless

Developers: Annapurna and giant squid

Following Abzû, The Pathless takes players into a misty and beautifully rendered forest. You play the role of an archer who must break the curse of darkness that rages in the country. You and your eagle mate must hunt evil spirits, explore the secret forest, solve riddles in ancient ruins and lead epic battles.

Possessions

Developers: Noodlecake and Lucid Labs

This colorful, minimalist and aesthetic 3D puzzle game seduces with its perspective. Lucid Labs' website indicates that players will examine objects from different angles until they seem to be in the right place. The riddles go hand in hand with a soothing soundtrack and the story of a family in trouble, without dialogue or text.

Projection: first light

Developers: Blowfish Studios and Shadowplay Studios

Projection: First Light is a ghost puppet adventure that reminds me of Little Nightmares. the the game's Twitter page says that players control the light to solve puzzles. It is beautiful and presents pedagogical aspects on the history and art of puppet theater.

Rayman Mini

Developers: Ubisoft

Ubisoft studios in India tweeted about Rayman Mini come to Apple Arcade. According to Apple, players use insects, mushrooms and plants to roam the world as fast as possible and try tirelessly to achieve the perfect score. If you're a fan of Rayman, chances are you're excited.

Developers: UsTwo Games

Unfortunately, there is only one image for this one. The colorful picture shows a woman dressed in bright colors with bright glasses. In March, the developers have announced that it would be exclusive to Apple Arcade.

Sayonara Wild Hearts

Developers: Annapurna Interactive and Simogo

Sayonara Wild Hearts looks like a new electric approach to the endless runner. It is centered on a woman who was heartbroken. Each level becomes more difficult as you battle laser and motorcycle battles on an amazing soundtrack.

Shantae 5

Developers: WayForward

The fifth edition of the cross-platform game Shantae will debut on Apple Arcade. The creator and director of the game released the new opening animation, from Trigger Inc., for Shantae 5 on Twitter on July 5th.

Shantae and the seven mermaids

Developers: WayForward

If Shantae 5 does not satisfy you, Wayforward also brings Shantae and the Seven Sirens to Apple Arcade. You will explore a vast sunken city and face the seven mermaids in the most thrilling adventure of the half-genius, say the developers.

Shinsekai Deep Sea

Developers: Capcom

Capcom introduced the new Apple Arcade game at Tuesday's event. You play as a diver in this action game that takes place under water. The controls let you navigate through the dark depths of the sea. Watch your oxygen levels and watch out for unwanted creatures!

Skate City

Developers: Snowman and agens

Skate City also comes to Apple Arcade. The game uses the touch screen to mimic the movements that a skater would be in the world to do tricks – more than 32 rounds, to be exact. You can customize your character and explore the dynamics of the day and the weather to always skate in ideal conditions.

Sasquatch sneaky

Developers: RAC7

This game looks discreet and fun. He looks like a sasquatch (or bigfoot if you prefer) driving a car and stealing coolers (or Eskys depending on where you live). It's colorful and looks like a delight to play with family.

Sonic Racing

Developers: Sega and HardLight

Until now, little has been revealed about Sonic Racing, but we can probably expect classic characters from Sonic games. According to Sonic Stadium, this looks like a newer version of Team Sonic Racing, but Sega has not yet confirmed whether it would have anything to do with the game.

Spidersaurs

Developers: WayForward

Unfortunately, we still have only the illustrations on this one. The picture shows two people shooting with a T-Rex behind them. Looks like the dinosaur has spider legs? It seems pretty nightmarish.

Steven Universe: Release the light

Developers: Cartoon Network and Rebecca Sugar

Choose and play as your favorite Steven Universe character from the original Cartoon Network show in this RPG. Choose the gems in your group, unlock skills and change your costume. If it is something as wonderful as the show, it will be an excellent game.

Super Impossible Road

Developers: Snape Games

According to Rogue Games, Super Impossible Road will make its entry into Apple Arcade later this year. Looks like you'll be more or less competing (that you honestly choose) futuristic pods on a course in space. Customize your pod and play with others, and the track is new every time.

Towaga: among the shadows

Developers: Noodlecake and Sunnyside Games

You play as Chimù, a light bearer who protects the Towaga temple against evil in this exciting solo action game.

UFO on tape: First contact

Developers: Revolutionary concepts

Not much to report on this one either. There is just the image of a UFO hovering over a city while it's raining. It will probably be a science fiction game with extraterrestrials.

Various Daylife

Developers: Square Enix

The name does not say much, but Apple says that Various Daylife is a role-playing game that takes place in the year 211 of the imperial era. Players will explore a newly discovered continent while living in the city of Erebia.

Where the cards fall

Developers: Snowman and the game board

Where the cards fall describes itself as a "dreamlike journey through the uncertainty of youth". The developers have created the story of the coming of age from stories using the cards as an intelligent metaphor: what it is that to be a teenager. The cards, which players can create or collapse, have greatly inspired the creation of the game.

Winding worlds

Developers: Ko_op

the the team behind Winding Worlds calls this game a colorful and dreamy puzzle-adventure about exploration, friendship and acceptance. Ko-op is also the developer behind GNOG and LCGO: The Mirror of Spirits.

Yaga

Developers: Versus Mal and Breadcrumbs Interactive

The latest in the Versus Evil range, Yaga is an RPG that adapts to your choices as you play. You play as Ivan, a blacksmith with one hand cursed with bad luck. Along the way, Ivan meets bears and giant chickens in some battles, based on what I can say from the available images.
