The BioWare anthem added to EA's subscription services

Anthem The ignominious fall of "BioWare's next big hit" to "oh my god" has not reached the bottom yet, as it was announced today that the game would be added to the EA subscription catalogs.

EA Access and Origin Access subscribers will be able to download and play the basic game for free on PS4, Xbox One and PC today, with Origin Premier customers (who already had access to the base game) switched to amateur mode. Legion of dawn editing instead.

Anthem, a new IP address of Mass Effect and Dragon Age BioWare creators, was released only in February of this year. Its development has been a nightmare, its evaluation results have been poor and, after delays, its major updates have not been worth the wait.

It remains to be seen EA Access today alongside other games like Yooka-Laylee and * check the notes * Ultimate Chicken Horse is wild.

It would be easy to write this because everyone is screened, but who knows, nowadays, nothing says what can happen to a game after its launch. Fortnite, Warframe and Rainbow six: seat all survived successful so-so outings, and landing on EA and Origin Access and accessing a base of players who did not have to pay the full retail price to buy it, Anthem could get the boost he needs to change things.

Or … it may not.
