Debate on democracy in Houston turns into a fight for health care, Obama, socialism – with a low blow to Biden's memory
Long political disputes between Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and many other candidates came to light in Thursday night's primary debate on democracy, as candidates – often out loud – unveiled their fundamental disagreements over "Medicare-for all," immigration and more. Intermittent efforts on the part of some candidates to demonstrate unity and maintain pressure on President Trump have repeatedly failed, most of them striving instead to mark a "moment" of aggressive debate on the issue. The clashes resolved all the questions as to whether leading candidates – gathered on stage for the first time, with the addition of Warren – would hold back. Winners and losers of 2020 debate on Dem Houston
According to Doug Schoen, Democratic pollster and Fox News contributor, a big winner and two losers of surprise emerged from the third primary debate on the Democratic presidential election. In his analysis for Fox News Digital, Schoen says Joe Biden was the big winner on Thursday night. "In the end, Biden's impressive performance – although not perfect – was a much needed show of strength and preparation and would probably strengthen his favorite status," writes Schoen. According to Schoen, the two losers are Elizabeth Warren, who did not offer the kind of expected performance expected by observers, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who did not show enough performance Thursday night to embark on polls and overtake Warren or Biden. McCabe is facing potential criminal charges while the GM rejects the last-minute appeal
Andrew McCabe, a former FBI deputy and acting director and current CNN contributor, faces potential criminal charges, Fox News reports after the US Attorney's Office in Washington recommended Thursday's charges, and Justice dismissed McCabe's lawyers last-minute. McCabe appealed the decision to Jeffrey Rosen, the Deputy Attorney General, but he dismissed the claim, according to someone close to the situation. The potential charges relate to the findings of the DOJ's Inspector General regarding misrepresentations of an investigation related to Hillary Clinton. Gregg Jarrett, Legal Analyst at Fox News, said in an editorial for Fox News Digital that McCabe is facing an "imminent judgment – well deserved".

Trump says he would consider an "interim agreement" with China
President Trump said Thursday that he was open to the possibility of an interim agreement to resolve a persistent trade dispute with China until a permanent agreement can be reached. "A lot of people are talking – and I see a lot of analysts say – of an interim agreement, which means we'll make some pieces, the easier ones first, but it's not easy. Nor is it difficult, "Trump told reporters on his appearance at a congressional retreat in Baltimore. "There is an agreement or there is no agreement. It's something we would consider, I suppose, but we're doing very well. Dow Jones Industrial Average, S & P 500 and NASDAQ futures were up slightly following Trump's remarks.
