The NFL's meeting with Britney Taylor about allegations of sexual assault against Antonio Brown, extended receiver of the New England Patriots, is scheduled to take place Monday, confirmed a source to ESPN.
Taylor, former coach of Brown, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in the South Florida District in which she accused him of having sexually assaulted her on three occasions in 2017 and 2018.
ESPN previously said that the NFL and Taylor should meet over the coming week. The NFL network announced Sunday that the meeting would take place on Monday.
A source told ESPN's Josina Anderson that Taylor had provided information to the league before the meeting. The source said they were not told that Brown or one of his representatives would attend this meeting and did not expect them to be.
Brown traveled with the Patriots in Miami before Sunday's game against the Dolphins, a source told ESPN's Mike Reiss on Saturday, and could debut in the season. Sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN on Friday that Brown had not been placed on the list of exempt persons of the commissioner because there was no criminal investigation regarding the recipient large.
Brown's lawyer, Darren Heitner, said Tuesday in a statement that his client and Taylor were involved in a "personal consensual relationship".
