The Seattle authorities on Saturday released a video of a fugitive suspect after firing a shot at a downtown tram station the night before making one dead and two injured.
The Seattle Police Service said the shooting took place around 9:20 pm at Westlake Station on a northbound platform for the Link Light Rail Transit. Officers arriving at the scene found three men shot dead, two of them fatally injured.
All three were transported to the Harborview Medical Center, where one of the men died. One of the wounded is still in critical condition, while the third was released Saturday morning, Harborview spokeswoman Susan Gregg told Q13 News.

Witnesses told investigators that the suspect and at least two of the victims may have been involved in an altercation outside the police station and that the shooting did not appear to be random, police said.
The video posted Saturday afternoon on the ministry's Twitter feed shows the suspect trying to hide the gun near her husband's waist as he climbs the stairs towards an exit at the station. tram.
The shooting led to the closure of roads throughout the region and the station as authorities investigated the shooting.
"We had to close all our doors. We did not know. We knew that there was an active shooter in the area, "said Eve Eve Jolly, who works a few blocks from the famous Pike Place market.

Another resident, Darran Bruce, told Q13 News that the area where the altercation has erupted has the reputation of being "a hot spot" and that more agents are needed in the region.

The Seattle police have said they have concentrated their resources in the region for several months and have been able to react quickly to the situation once informed of the shooting. Bruce, however, said he worried if additional resources were being moved elsewhere in the city.

Seattle has seen the number of shootings increase this year, with 15 dead and 55 injured in early September, according to the Seattle Times. Last year, at the same time, the city reportedly saw 9 dead and 45 wounded, according to the newspaper.
