The rewards begin September 16, 2019 at 1 pm and runs until September 23, 2019, at 1 pm PDT and it's here, it's finally here UNOVA. Breaking with the tradition of the last two years and Generations, the first turn of the new Pokémon will not be Ghost-Types on Halloween.
In the same vein, Mewtwo will return to the T5 raids, this time with Psystrike and the opportunity to be SHINY. Let's say that week 3 chases the remaining 2 weeks! It's time to recap the rewards, in more detail, for the third week and figure out how to optimize the game. For a complete overview of all the Ultra Bonus rewards, check out our V region, the brilliant Mewtwo, Jirachi and the regional Kanto highlights come in the Pokemon GO article.

UNOVA – Generation V
The computer is there – the generation V! After a year of extended release of Generation 4 and 38.5 months of Pokémon Go, we go to Unova. We experienced this generation for the first time in 2010 with Pokémon Black and White. If you've never played these games at the time, it's good to know that Black and White (B & W) has recorded a complete reset of the main series games. For the first time, NO previous Pokémon was available in nature. This resulted in a total of 156 new Pokémon, many of which were imitations, copies, enhancements, etc. existing Pokémon, especially Generation I. Do not worry after many reactions, Black 2 and White 2 came out in 2012, adding new areas and bringing back many old favorites from five generations.
Although there is no indication as to the Generation V Pokémon that will be released in week 3. We know three for sure: Patrat, Lillipup and Klink. The first two Pokémon are the Ordinaryfodder type evolution. Although there are still some left in this category, they could be released a little later in another wave. Klink seems to be the equivalent of Shinx's Generation V, only in Raids, in three stages and shining from the first day.
Recent tweets from the official Pokémon Go also signal the release of the three Starters. These three Pokémon are Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. The three will not be brilliant, as this is expected to happen at their respective community days (March, May and July 2020).
Twitter tips continue with the Ghost-type Yamask. Does this mean that Ghost Pokémon is going out this week, or is this already an allusion to the Halloween event?
For a complete overview of the Gen V Pokémon that needs to be ready, we strongly recommend that you read our Pokemon GO Gen 5 Meta (First look, first part): Pokemon no legendary potential meta.
Mewtwo Raids
MEWTWO IS BACK – and this time, it's BRILLIANT! I can not be the only one screaming inside. Mewtwo, one of the favorites of coaches around the world, is undoubtedly the best attacker of the game, always very relevant, and he has not been available for a year. Do not worry, it's the normal form, not the shielded form we've seen recently. In addition, this time, Mewtwo can learn the psystrike of load shifting. Although this new movement does not include Psychic's DPS or Legacy Shadow Move, it's a very good move that can always be improved. If you need help against Mewtwo, check out our guides and thermal maps. TLDR – Gengar & Giratina.
Remember on September 18, 2019 from 18:00 to 19:00 in your local time zone, there will be a Happy Hour Raid for Mewtwo. This should not be missed. Personally, I made 20 at a Raid Happy Hour, getting 3 Brilliant Rays the first time but 0 the second. The important thing is to find a place and a group. The more raids you have, the more likely you are to get a Shiny.
A side note, with only one T5 Raid Boss, the Egg and Raid timers will most likely be reinstated on the original Egg system for 1 hour and 45 minutes of Raid.
Week 3 T1-4 Boss Raid
We have not yet seen the full extent of the T1-4 raid bosses that will be available in week 3, but Niantic said, "Need a good team to face Mewtwo? Other Pokémon appearing in raids will help you form a good team to challenge the Genetic Pokémon. It most likely means Dark and Ghost Pokémon, again, so expect little change in the Raids Bosses from the second to the third week.
Niantic has officially confirmed his presence in the raids. Which level is unknown, but it is known that Shiny Klink will be available. Klink is a pure SteelPokémon type; therefore, is low at Traffic light, fight, and Ground. This means that there are a lot of big counters, including: Breloom, Entai, Blaziken, Flareon, Heatean, and so on.
Kanto Regional
The 4 Regional Pokémon from the Kanto region will still hatch 7 km of eggs. With the brilliant shapes now available and the 1/2 Eggs Distances, there's really no reason not to hatch as much as you can. The reports from Week 2 indicate that these 4 regional have actually high hatching rates, but that the gloss rates are low, coupled with a change of about 75% in the obtaining of 39, an egg from gifts. Do not let this discourage you and keep sending gifts to all your friends every day. The Adventure Box is still present and is a good agreement with 15 super incubators and 2 regular incubators; However, the Ultra Box may be better this week with only 10 super incubators but 14 raid passes, both boxes costing 1480 PokéCoins (we do not know when these boxes will disappear.)

Priorities of guides and events
Week 3 increases the level of excitement to 11 for Ultra Bonus. Shiny Mewtwo and a version of Generation V! It's really hard to contain the hype. This is definitely the right time to do a little autumn cleaning of your Pokémon storage box and you must also increase the limit. It is now limited to 2,500. Generation V will add a lot of Pokémon, many of which will be relevant.
Top Priorities
- Raider your face. Two facts: the more you do Mewtwo raids, the better your chances of getting a Shiny, you will catch 0% of Shinies that you will not have attacked. Raid, Raid, Raid, Raid, Raid and Raid … Like Shiny Rayquaza, Shiny Mewtwo is a must, but this time it only lasts a week. Introduce yourself to hatching eggs and I am sure you will be able to make new friends. It will take at least 3 coaches to beat Mewtwo, but you can do it.
- Happy Hour Raid. On September 18, 2019 from 6pm to 7pm local time is the Happy Hour of the Mewtwo Raid. Do not miss it.
- Hunting generation v. Get out and look for all the new Pokémon Unova. Some will be more common than others, and if Starters are released, their prevalence varies by region. But this week, they should certainly be more numerous everywhere.
- Gift and hatching. The only way to obtain the Kanto regional, outside their respective regions, is to use 7-km eggs; 7 km Eggs are acquired only from gifts. It means being a generous friend and open your gifts wisely. Do not forget to make sure that you have available egg slots as well as room in your Pokémon storage.
- Maximize the use of the incubator. The efficiency of the incubator is doubled for a third week. So be sure to keep your free incubator active as much as possible. Also make sure that Adventure Sync is enabled. With all the steps between raiding and looking for Pokémon Gen V, your distance will increase, and you should be able to hatch many eggs each day.
