A woman from Florida and her four children have been missing for about six weeks and their relatives are increasingly worried, officials said Sunday.

Casei Jones, 32, and her children – Cameron Bowers, 10; Preston Bowers, age 5; Mercalli Jones, 2; and Aiyana Jones, 1 – were last seen in early August in Ocala, Florida, a town about 40 km south of Gainesville, where the family lives.

The family was missing Sunday, Fox County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Monday.

It was not known immediately why Jones and his children were not missing earlier or if officials believe the family left voluntarily, but authorities said Jones's relatives "fear for his well-being, "said the sheriff's office in Facebook post.

"I've never been so scared," said Jones' mother, Nikki Jones, at WOFL. "They do not know where she is, they went home and she left, the house is empty."

Jones could drive a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with the Florida 91SEJ registration number, officials said.

The mother of four could drive a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with the Florida 91SEJ registration number, according to the Sheriff's Office. No research has been arranged for Jones or the children because of the time elapsed since the quintet's disappearance.
