Apple Watch Strips with Magnets May Cause Interference with Compass on Series 5 Models

[ad_1]

A new addition to Apple Watch Series 5 models is a built-in compass that allows users to see the direction in which they are, with a new Compass application that displays heading, tilt, latitude, longitude and altitude current.

In small print on his website, however, Apple has indicated that Apple Watch bands with magnets "may cause interference" with the compass. This includes the Milanese buckle, the modern buckle and the leather buckle. Sport bands, Sport buckles, Link Bracelets, Nike and Hermes bands do not contain magnets.

Magnetic interference can affect any compass. So it's not a problem. Apple Watch problem, but something to keep in note while choosing a group.
