CNN – Jonathan Van Ness, from Quincy, shares a very vulnerable part of his life.
The star of Queer Eye said that he was HIV positive.
The 32-year-old New York Times talked about his diagnosis.
He says he's been tested positive at the age of 25.
Van Ness also told the Times that he is a survivor of a sexual assault and his history of drug abuse.
He said today that he was in good health and had not used hard drugs for years.
His memoir, "Over the Top", will debut on September 24th.
