Joker Gas Canister Guide: Where to Defuse Fortnite Locations

Batman teased Batman crossover tease is now underway, bringing an assortment of content inspired by Batman. Besides skins and other Batman cosmetics to buy in the game shop, you also have a set of Batman challenges of limited duration that will allow you to unlock other rewards, such as 39, a Catwing glider.

The Fortnite Batman challenges will be live until October 1, so you have so far to fill them all and claim a special prize. Fortunately, most tasks are fairly simple and can be erased with enough perseverance, but a task that can cause you a problem requires you to do it. defuse Joker cartridges found in different named locations. If you do not know where to look, we explain below where to go and what to do.

Where are the locations of the Joker gas cans?

Unlike Bat signals that you need to turn on for a different Batman challenge, Joker cartridges do not appear exactly in the same place as each match; however, like vending machines, the areas they can spawn in are fixed. In addition to that, they are not reusable as Bat signals; if another player deactivates a Joker cartridge before you, it will no longer be available. That said, you can confidently expect cartridges to appear in some places. We were personally lucky to find them at Lucky Landing, Salty Springs and the new Gotham City Rift area.

These are certainly not the only cans hidden around the island, but just defuse three. We therefore recommend that you examine the areas indicated below. You can also see exactly where we found the cartridges in the video at the top of this guide.

How to take up the challenge

Once you have located a Joker cartridge, you must interact with it to defuse it. As indicated by the challenge, you must defuse the cartridges from three different named locations in order for your work to be counted. So you can not just disable three in the same area. Once you've defused all three, you'll get 10 fighting stars for your troubles and get closer to unlatching the Catwing glider.

Batman's Fortnite challenges will be available until October 1st, while skins and other Batman cosmetics will remain in the game shop until October 6th – the very day of the end of season 10.
