Chicago will not have a good start to Monday Night Football.
The Bears attack Bobby Massie was among the inactive team before the game Monday night against the Washington Redskins. He was not on the injury report this week.
The Bears confirmed to Mike Garafolo of the NFL that Massie was sick. Sources told Garafolo that Massie was struggling with vertigo.
Massie has taken the right-hand shot in both Chicago games this season and has launched the 46 regular-season games that he has played with the Bears since joining the organization in 2016.
Cornelius Lucas, a sixth-year player with just eight career starts, is behind Massie. He recorded only nine special shots in the first two games of Chicago.
Rashaad Coward and Ted Larsen are also part of the O-line Reserves in Chicago.
