Support AMD Ryzen 5 3500 and 3500X spotted

Three AMD partners this week on their respective websites have started listing two new Ryzen 5 Series 3000 processors yet unannounced. The new six-core processors – the Ryzen 5 3500 and Ryzen 5 3500X – should be cheaper than the Zen 2-based processors already available when they are available.

MSI has added AMD Ryzen 5 3500X processor support to its Godlike MEG X570 motherboard revealing some of its specifications. In the meantime, Amazon has started listing the Ryerson 5 3500-based HP Pavilion gaming desktop and NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1650 4GB graphics card currently available for pre-order. The system will be available on October 20, 2019.

The Ryzen 5 3500X six-core processor is reported to operate at a default frequency of 3.6 GHz, has a 3 MB L2 cache, 32 MB L3 cache, and 65 W TDP. The Ryzen 5 3500 six-core has similar features, but it runs at 3.4 GHz and does not support AMD's XFR technology, according to the list published on Amazon.com.

Since the Ryzen 5 3500 processor is already listed by a major PC manufacturer, it is likely that it is already available or on the verge of being. Meanwhile, it is still unclear when AMD plans to launch deliveries of the Ryzen 5 3500X, but it is reasonable to expect that it will be available at about the same time as the Ryzen 5 3500 model.

The AMD Radeon 5 3500 and 3500X processors are located below the Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600X processors. So think of prices lower or equal to 200 USD.
