Wattam, the next game of Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy Keita Takahashi, the creator, will visit PlayStation 4 in December, revealed Sony and publisher Annapurna Interactive during the presentation of his State of Play livestream today.

In WattamPlayers will control a variety of objects, from green cube-shaped mayors to cheerful flowers, to smiling toilets, to a variety of multicolored swirls and just-happy-to-be-here. Some of these living things will ask you to help them, but sometimes you just have to tie your hands and do a little dance with your anthropomorphic friends. Players can make friends and reconnect objects around the world, resulting in big explosions of joy throwing confetti.

We played Wattam a few times, and it lives up to its official description of being a game "about the joys of friendship and discovery". You can watch a new trailer filled with "la-las" and laughter.

Funomena developer unveiled for the first time Wattam back in 2015, the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC game was to be launched sometime in 2018.
