It was the morning before OC6 and throughout the metaverse, Mark Zuckerberg let out hints about his keynote address.
Not long ago, we reported what looked like a Facebook CEO teasing about finger tracking. Now, however, Zuckerberg might suggest a social reality experience that is actually comparable to the online metaverse of Ready Player One, the Oasis.
In response to his video presentation, a fan stated that they were waiting for an RPG using Oculus, such as Oasis.
To that, Zuckerberg simply replied: "You could enjoy the announcements tomorrow." Oh, you tease.
What could Zuckerberg do well here? In Ready Player One, the Oasis is a global virtual metaverse that allows everyone to be whoever they want and do what they want. It's so good that humanity is fundamentally lost in the new world. We do not think that virtual reality is ready for anything of this magnitude, but this bitch could take the first steps towards something like this.
We have already written about the confusion that pervaded Facebook's politics of Facebook's dispersed social reality. Facebook spaces seem almost forgotten, Oculus Rooms has never left Gear VR and Go, and Oculus Quest still does not have its own experience of social networking reality optimized by Facebook.
Could we possibly see that Facebook has announced a definitive social destination through Oculus Rift and Quest? If so, could this be the first to integrate with traceability on a teased finger earlier today? Maybe we are just getting carried away, but it's an exciting idea.
We will have to watch with the speaker to find out.
