Ringo Starr became the last artist to appear on Jimmy Fallon's "Classroom Instruments" when he played "Yellow Submarine" on Tonight's show last night.
The former Beatles drummer was joined by Fallon and the Roots, who played instruments including a battery of toys, a plastic horn, melodica and even a yellow underwater shaker.

Released in 1966 as a Double A with "Eleanor Rigby", Lennon-McCartney's composition was the UK's best-selling song of the year, occupying the # 1 position for 13 weeks. "Yellow Submarine" also reached No. 2 in the United States and remains the Beatles best-selling song featuring Starr singing.
He will release his 20th solo album, What is my name, Oct. 25, presenting a new recording of John Lennon's "Grow Old With Me", starring Paul McCartney.
Explaining that he had not heard the song until recently, Starr said, "I sang it the best I could." I feel good when I think of John so deeply. And I did my best. We did our best. Paul came and he played bass and sings a bit with me. So, John is on [the album], in a sense. I'm on it and Paul is on it. This is not a publicity stunt. It's just what I wanted. And the ropes … if you really listen, they make a line of [the George Harrison song] & # 39; s here is the sun. & # 39; In a way, we are all four.
