A police officer, Tesla, broke down battery in the middle of a high speed chase in California last week, reported Wednesday.
The police from the Fremont Police Department on Friday chased a suspect into a Tesla Model S car issued by the department, when he suddenly noticed that he was almost fallen to the ground, the Mercury News reported.

The police officer's vehicle was found shortly after being crushed in a bush, the report said.
The driver fled and the authorities were looking for him on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the police department told CNN that its pilot program for the use of electric cars in its fleet had started six months ago.
