The Nissan Titan is getting a makeover in 2020, but there will be fewer to choose from.
The redesigned truck will only be available in King Cab and Crew Cab configurations and with a single engine: an upgraded 5.6L V8 with 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission . Meanwhile, the heavyweight model Titan XD is being removed.
Offered in five trim levels with 4×2 or 4×4 transmission, the Titan features a refreshed exterior styling inspired by Nissan's Titan Warrior concept adopted several years ago, with new grille and lighthouse designs. Inside gets some minor tweaks, plus an optional 9-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, which is equipped with Apple CarPlay integration and Android Auto smartphone.
All Titans are equipped as standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 Driver Assistance System, which includes automatic emergency brakes and a lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control and a bird-eye camera system are in the list of options.
