The iPhone 2020 could completely eliminate the famous notch of the design, suggests an image of a presumed prototype, with the TrueDepth camera sensor depressed in the top panel to allow the screen to take all the front side of the mobile device.

The introduction of "hack" in the iPhone X in 2017 was a major change in the design of the iPhone, which sparked a wave of imitating designs from Android smartphone manufacturers . However, according to an image, Apple could totally give up its design choice by finding a way to offer the same functionality without cutting the screen.
A shared image by Ben Geskin on Twitter shows what appears to be an iPhone with the current full screen design but without the notch. According to Mr. Geskin, "One of the prototypes of the 2020 iPhone is equipped with a 6.7-inch display with face recognition system and a system of TrueDepth camera housed in the top panel. "
A second part of the same picture includes a closer look at the top of the bezel, revealing the addition of various components typically placed in the notch area. The components include an infrared camera, an illumination projector, a point projector, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a speaker, a microphone, and a normal camera.

Although moving the contents of the notch to the bezel can help eliminate the notch, the concept could force Apple to use a slightly thicker bezel on all sides. Users may welcome the removal of the notch, but some users may not necessarily use a thicker bezel, although a clear and clear screen that fills the front of the iPhone.
Geskin is not the only one to suggest a major shift, a July analyst analyst of the Ming-Chi Kuo saying that the 2020 iPhone could significantly reduce its size or remove it completely.
