A flight of Alaska Airlines hijacked after the threat of a passenger

The 411 flight was diverted to Kansas City after an "unruly and combative passenger" threatened the crew members and "threatened the safety of the plane," according to a statement.

The plane landed "without incident" around 4 pm. local time, said the Federal Aviation Administration.

Once the plane landed, the security forces stopped the passenger, and the crew members were interrogated.

The flight was to continue in Los Angeles.
