It seems that Samsung does not manage to take a break with regard to its Galaxy Fold smartphone. After years of flight and media hype, it was finally launched in April of this year. Some technical journalists received their pre-production units in April, but sent them back to Samsung for investigation. As before, the Samsung Galaxy Fold is in the hands of high-tech journalists and is, once again, down, at least for a critic.
Brian Heater, hardware editor at TechCrunch, whose previous Galaxy Fold unit had no problem in April, saw his Galaxy Fold fail after using it normally for a day. Looking at the picture provided by Mr. Heater, it appears that a block of pixels at the center of the phone above the crease fold area has failed and that colors are "stuck" in their bright state.
As expected, his Galaxy Fold is already in the hands of Samsung for further investigation. While the official launch day is only a day away and many people expect their device to be used, it is hoped that this incident is a statistically does not reveal a more serious and widespread problem. In the meantime, we will keep an eye open for any new incidents.
