Every Alexa and Echo Amazon device announced this week in a convenient list

[ad_1]

Amazon this week organized a major hardware event, announcing a procession of new devices compatible with Alexa and IoT. Make no mistake: Amazon wants to find a way to get home or in your pocket. But there is something to be excited too, especially since the prices practiced by Amazon are often lower than those of a similar competition.

Let's start with the myriad of devices that are compatible with Alexa from the Echo family.

Echo Studio

Echo Studio is the challenger of Amazon like Sonos and Apple's HomePod. We've talked a lot about it here, but it promises big audio increases and is the first smart speaker to support 3D audio, including Dolby Atmos.

Price: $ 199.99
When: Pre-order here, launches November 7th.

Echo buds

According to long rumors, Amazon is finally embarking on the real game of wireless headphones. They promise premium sound quality with two balanced-frame loudspeakers and Amazon has made the right choice in licensing the Bose noise reduction technology. An ambient sound mode is also available to become aware of your environment and the buttons resist perspiration.

The battery life is estimated at five hours per session, with three additional charges provided by the case, for a total of 20 hours. As a pleasant surprise, Amazon does not limit you to Alexa; Google Assistant and Siri will also work. They seem seriously convincing at the price of 130 dollars. Read more here.

Price: $ 129.99
When: Pre-order here, launches October 30th.

Echo Frames

Yes, Amazon makes smart glasses, but no, they do not send you holographic images. it's an audio only case. That's why they are relatively slender compared to the anti-AR glasses and can promise battery life "all day".

They basically work like a smart watch, reading your notifications aloud and allowing you to ask Alexa questions. They even support optional access to the Google Assistant. But microphones can also be turned off when you want more privacy. Read more here.

Price: $ 179.99
When: As part of Amazon's new "Day 1 Edition" pilot program. Available by invitation only, which you can request here.

Echo loop

Another product of Day 1 Edition, Echo Loop also works as a tiny smart audio watch. Click on the action button to ask Alexa for weather or information about your dinner reservations. You can even make short phone calls by placing your hand in front of your ear, which sounds both embarrassing and certainly quite futuristic.

As is the case with Amazon's new handheld devices, Echo Loop also supports Siri or the Google Assistant. Read more here.

Price: $ 129.99
When: Also only via invitation; register here.

Echo Dot 3rd Gen (AKA Echo Dot Clock)

It turns out that a lot of people are asking the time at their Echo Dot, so Amazon said, why not just put a clock on it? The display can also be set to indicate send alarms, timers or temperature.

Price: $ 59.99
When: Pre-order here, shipped on October 16th.

Echo Flex

As with most home gadgets, smart speakers need to be plugged in, passing a thread on your beautiful furniture. Boo. The solution? Have a smart speaker that plugs directly into the jack. The Flex echo works basically the same way as any other echo, but at a great price of $ 30 (and probably not great sound quality). It also comes with a built-in USB port, which is nice.

Price: $ 24.99
When: Pre-order here, shipped November 14th.

Echo Glow

Ooooh, brilliant. It's a little strange that this gadget is part of the Echo family, since there is no microphone or speaker on board. Instead, you can control it via another Alexa device, configuring different colors for reminders or making light dance to your music. There is even a "Rainbow Timer" to help kids stay on track by going to bed, shopping, etc. allegedly

Price: $ 29.99
When: In pre-order now, ship on November 20th.

Echo Show 8

It's a bigger echo show! It has an 8-inch block screen, which, you know, is larger than 5 inches.

Price: $ 129.99
When: Pre-order here, shipped November 21st.

Echo Speaker Gen 3

The last echo has a better sound "powered by Dolby", although it is not an Atmos speaker like the Studio.

Price: $ 99.99
When: Pre-order here, available October 16th.

Ok, that's enough Echo devices. Amazon also had other gadgets:

Amazon Smart Oven

The first Amazon had a Alexa microwave. Now, Amazon is offering an Alexa combo with a convection-air-convection-powered microwave oven powered by Alexa. No microphones on board, but it can be controlled by your other voice devices. You can even scan your packaged food with Alexa and the oven will determine the appropriate time. Jack Donaghy would be proud.

Price: $ 249.99
When: Pre-order here, available on November 14th.

Ring recovery

Amazon has announced a new low-power, long-range wireless protocol called "Sidewalk". Operating on the 900 MHz spectrum, it is intended for low-speed transmissions for elements such as IoT devices, which can go far. Ring Fetch is one of the first devices to use this technology. It's basically a tracking device that allows you to make sure your puppy is always within a specified radius.

Price: To be determined
When: Next year

New Eero

Amazon has announced the first new Eero since the purchase of the company. Not surprisingly, it comes with deeper Alexa integration. The mesh router allows you to connect multiple routers to provide extended coverage throughout your home. Amazon promises that the installation takes less than 10 minutes.

Price: $ 99 for one or $ 249 for three
When: Available now

Ring Stick Up Cam

Ring's new Stick Up Cam is basically identical to last year's model, with 1080p streams and motion detection. Also comes in a battery powered version. The difference? It's cheaper.

Price: $ 99
When: Pre-order today, available on October 23rd

Stick Up Cam Elite Ring

As above, but with Ethernet for a solid connection.

Price: $ 199
When: To be determined

Inner ring cam

Like the Cam Stick Up, but smaller, cheaper and unprotected from the elements. It must also be plugged into an outlet and not supplied with a battery powered version.

Price: $ 59.99
When: Today & # 39; hui

Ring modification alarm kit

Allows you to connect your old alarm system to the Ring network. The best of both worlds

Price: $ 199
When: To be determined
