Fans were concerned after the account began sharing content tinged with sexual content, racism, suicidal thoughts and more.
Fans of “Stranger things” star Noah schnapp were left confused and worried over the weekend as his Twitter account began sharing several disturbing and disturbing tweets, including suicidal thoughts, as well as unusual sexual and racist content.
Most of those tweets have since been deleted, with the 15-year-old star taking to her Instagram Stories to reveal what happened.

“Someone hacked my Twitter,” he wrote. “I’m not trying to come back to me and I’ll let you know when I do.”
The first tweet to raise suspicion came at 6:27 a.m.ET, by Variety, with the message “Thoughts of suicide”. While there was understandable concern, fans quickly realized something was wrong as it was followed by more disturbing and varied content.
Some of the retweets and tags in the pirated content could indicate accounts involved in the piracy.
Although the most inflammatory tweets have been deleted, including the sexual content and the use of the n-word, things do not appear to be back to normal yet.
Schnapp has yet to share an additional update and two of the hacked retweets remain active on Schnapp’s Twitter feed, indicating that he has yet to regain full control of his account.

Fans quickly became suspicious as his feed began to retweet stories of other accounts of him smoking marijuana and fighting, for example. Deadline, with even more disconcerting content throughout the day.

Prior to Saturday’s attack, his Twitter feed had been silent for a month, with his last tweet on July 16.
